Horrible weather keeps TT'ers at home
Posted: 26th June, 2008 21:49 |
On a wet and windy evening, just 5 brave souls turned up for the 20 mile TT on the Llandod-Crossgates circuit. So awful were the conditions that one couple who had driven 13 miles for the event, barely stopped at The Cwm before driving past and continuing homewards. One other rider was spotted spying from the shelter of his car at various points along the course.
Those who did ride benefited from a good score counting towards their series result.
Winner was Dave Evans in a very respectable time of 54min 5sec. |

New 7 mile TT course
Posted: 1st May, 2008 22:14 |
The first of May saw the inaugural running of the 7 mile course in the Rhayader Hilly Time Trial Series. Despite fine weather, a fairly small field of 15 riders turned up for it. However, great enthusiasm was expressed by everyone. A good addition to this popular series. |
