|Rhayader is a small market town in the centre of Wales in between Snowdonia National Park and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The town is situated on the junction of the A470 and the A44.
Just to the west of Rhayader is the magnificent Elan Valley with its five reservoirs and vast expanse of open hills.
By car, Rhayader is less than one and a half-hours from both the M4 and the M5.
The nearest train station is at Llandrindod Wells (10 miles away) and coaches stop at Llangurig (10 miles)
